Money +
It is estimated that there is over $10 billion dollars plus in money and property in the United States waiting for the rightful owner. This could be in the form of gift certificates, money orders, stocks, refunds, checks and more.
It’s easy to see how someone could be missing money or property. If you moved for example, you may have forgotten your utility deposit or to close your bank account. It is recommended that you check every state you have ever lived in and check every name you have ever used.
The easiest way to find missing money online is by going to the MissingMoney.com. MissingMoney is a free site endorsed by NAUPA.
It has a large database of unclaimed property and money from many States. Type your name and location in the fields shown and a new screen will pop up showing if you have missing money or property. Keep checking back as the site is updated monthly and new states are being added.

Not all States are in the MissingMoney.com database. At NAUPA (National Association of Unclaimed Property) the government site that helps consumers collect their missing money and property, you can search individual states.
Check back at each site regularly for updates.
